To compose “Haiku” I have started from a traditional Japanese scale and -for some themes- from a simple stochastic algorithm written in Python. This austerity of musical resources and its origin brought to mind the idea of Haiku poetry, where everything seems to be suspended. The idea of lightness and suspension also preside over “EVANESCENCE”, a theme humbly dedicated to the great abstract expressionist painter Shinoda Tôkô
